Level, Soundproof, and Premium Flooring Fits
Installing laminate or vinyl flooring over an uneven concrete floor causes the joints to bounce, squeak, and eventually break. A flat substrate, moisture-barrier underlay, and correct perimeter expansion gaps are critical.
We install premium wood laminate floors and highly durable, 100% waterproof luxury vinyl planks (LVP). We prepare concrete sub-floors with self-leveling screed compounds, install damp-proof membranes, lay acoustic underlays, fit flooring planks, and trim borders with skirtings and transition profiles.
Luxury Laminate & Vinyl Planks: Hard-wearing laminate boards or waterproof luxury vinyl planks suitable for kitchens, living rooms, and bedrooms.
Concrete Floor Level Screeds: We lay self-leveling mortar to repair uneven concrete floors, ensuring a flat base for plank installations.
Skirtings & Profile Fitting: We install matching skirting boards, quadrant beadings, and metal expansion joint transition plates at doorways.
Our Flooring Process
We ensure concrete moisture is low, level the substrate, and allow boards to acclimate to prevent warping.
Sub-Floor Levelling
We clean the floor, apply priming agents, and lay self-leveling screed to correct dips and bumps.
Moisture & Sound Barriers
We lay down a polyethylene plastic sheet to block rising damp, followed by a high-density foam underlay for soundproofing.
Plank Layout & Fitting
We lay planks in staggered joints, utilizing spacers along walls to create the required 10mm expansion gaps.
Skirting & Quadrant Trim
We remove spacers, mount matching skirting boards, fit transitions at doorways, adjust door bottoms, and clean up.
